We consider 10 or more people traveling together as a group, and at Danhostel Ribe Family and Youth Hostel, we accommodate groups ranging from 10 to 170 persons.

For group trips, it is required that the group leader has a hostel membership card (Hostelling International – (HI-Hostel))

Our meals are always served in large quantities from our buffet. All our food is prepared in our kitchen using fresh seasonal foods. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner we serve homemade bread.

If you let us know in advance, we can arrange meals to accommodate people with allergies and diabetes, as well as vegetarians and people who observe religious food preferences. Sometimes – not very often – you have to pay a little extra.
Normally a group stay includes at least 2 meals in our restaurant every day. We look forward to welcoming you into our restaurant to taste the hostels delicious breakfast buffet and delicious daily menu choices for your enjoyment. The self-catering kitchen is only for families and solo guests.

Rooms for group accommodation at Danhostel Ribe

Group participants are normally accommodated in rooms with four beds with adjoining group-leader rooms. Each room has a bathroom/toilet. The room key is used for the room and for the night doors.

You may bring your own towels and bed linen or, if you prefer, we have bed linen for rent. Since hygiene is paramount, sleeping bags may not be used.
All the beds have allergy-friendly pillows and comforters. Prior to departure, we ask that you leave the room neat and tidy. Final cleaning is made by our cleaning staff
We maintain a smoke-free and pet-free environment.
